Info sent to W4MP from POST – plus an invitation….and….a chance of winning a prize! How can you resist?
What do organ transplants, invasive species and driverless vehicles have in common? Well, they are all briefing papers currently in preparation at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology. Our office works for both Houses, specialising in producing a wide range of independent, peer-reviewed science and technology papers. They aim to inform MPs and Peers of exciting scientific developments that will have an impact on policymaking and legislation.
We also organise a busy year-round events programme open to all parliamentarians and staff – our next event is for MPs’ Researchers. We would be delighted if you could join us over lunch in the Attlee Suite at 12.00 – 2.00pm on Tuesday 16 July, where staff will be on hand to talk about how POST can help you with your work. There will also be a prize for researchers who sign up to our mailing list at the event!
To register for this event, or to join our mailing list to receive our briefings and future event invitations please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone us on 020 7219 2840.
We are always delighted to receive suggestions for new briefings – do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to see a topic covered by our scientific staff. Our comprehensive catalogue of publications is available online at www.parliament.uk/post
