Football Players wanted for successful Sunday Club in South London

Westminster Wanderers are an established and successful Sunday League Club playing in and around Wandsworth and Merton. They’ve asked us to post the following:

We are looking for new players for the 2015-16 season.

We were born out of the Conservative Central Office side of the 1990s but now have Labour, Liberal and Tory staffers on the side as well as civil servants and PR and PA professionals.

We welcome new players and the growth of the club, from one to four sides in a few years, because we are well organised and attract and retain good players.

We play in the Southern Sunday Football League. Our three league teams play to a high standard, train regularly and our home ground is on Tooting Common. Our Vet’s side plays friendly fixtures throughout the year in Battersea Park.

If you are a committed player who wants to be part of a successful club then please contact the Club Chairman Alex Aiken – westminsterwanderers@gmail.com

The club will be running training sessions during August on Tuesday and Thursday nights and plays 8aside on Monday evenings. New players are welcome to come to any of these sessions.

You can see more about Westminster Wanderers in the Southern Sunday Football League pages in the London section of Football Mitoo http://football.mitoo.co/Noticeboard.cfm?countieslist=LondonMiddx,Surrey&LeagueCode=SSFL2014
