Does your MP Need a Digital Mentor?

As part of its mission to “make Britain brilliant in the network age”, Doteveryone is launching a pilot Digital Mentor programme for members of parliament. The aim is to identify areas where MPs could make a tangible leap in effectiveness using internet-enabled technologies and approaches.

They are looking for up to three digital experts to embed within MPs’ offices for a period of 3 months.

Each expert will work alongside two separate MPs and their staff, examining their approach to all aspects of their work, identifying problems and suggesting workable solutions based on use of internet technologies and approaches.

The Mentors will spend two days each week with each of their two MPs at their offices, and one day at the Doteveryone offices at Somerset House to provide feedback, receive support and share and develop common approaches and solutions with the other Mentors.
