Two useful new items from the Commons Finance and Administration Department - both are on their intranet site and therefore available to MPs and Staff - BUT ONLY accessible until Monday 11 April:

"Guidance on Pay and Allowances for Members who leave the House at a General Election". This will also be distributed shortly in hard copy to Members who are standing down.

A series of FAQs are also available covering all the questions you want to ask about what you can and can't do during the election. This item includes a section on "Members' Staff Questions" - VITAL READING. Do it now before you lose access to the Intranet!
