Library Standard Notes

The House of Commons Library is continuously publishing new and updated standard notes,  all of which are available from the Library intranet site.

Some of these Standard Notes can also be viewed on the public Parliamentary website; these are broadly the ones covering parliamentary and constitutional subjects. You will find them on this page:

alongside Research Papers - an occasional series of papers, numbered by year and sequence of publication, and usually deal with topics of current parliamentary interest.  Standard Notes are generally shorter and more informal than Research Papers.
