What is i-uk?
i-uk is a gateway to the United Kingdom's business, tourism, educational and cultural resources. The site was launched in October 2002 in response to research commissioned by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), in conjunction with UK Trade & Investment, VisitBritain and the British Council, into what overseas visitors want and need to know about the UK. The website has been developed to offer access to this information and to related services.
