RUGBY LEAGUE MATCH - POLITICIANS VS JOURNALISTS - LEEDS 28TH JUNE: In conjunction with All Party Parliamentary Rugby League Group, Leeds Rhinos and the Rugby Football League, Greg Mulholland MP is organising a special Rugby League match, ‘Politicians v. Journalists’ and is looking for people who are interested in taking part. The match will be held on Saturday 28 June at Headingley Stadium in Leeds, on the day of Leeds Rhinos’ clash with Castleford Tigers. The politicians’ side will consist of UK politicians at any level of local government, Scottish Parliament/Welsh Assembly or the UK Parliament. Also welcome are current or former candidates for public election, or staff working in political offices, including MP/MSP/ASM and local government. The match will be full contact so anyone who wishes to take part would have to be confident they are fit and healthy enough to participate.
