The successful applicant must have experience of dealing with the media, good research and media monitoring skills and extremely good interpersonal skills. The new venture will have an exciting Web 2.0 component, so a general familiarity with UK politics on the internet is essential and an understanding of Web 2.0 campaigning would be extremely beneficial. The position will end at the end of June 2009 and will require occasional evening and weekend work.
