details Do you want to gain valuable experience in a political environment at the very heart of the general election campaign? Then this may be the opportunity for you. The Labour Party in the South East of England is currently looking to recruit committed volunteers to help at our office in Reading.

You will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the many areas of the Labour Party campaign in the South East including:

  • Media
  • E-campaigning
  • Literature production
  • Administration
  • Campaigning

    The successful candidates will be:

  • Good self starters
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work to a high standard
  • Able to organise their workload
  • Flexible

    Commitment to the Labour Party and its values are a must.

    Being voluntary positions there are no fixed working hours attached to these positions.

    • closes Closing date for applications is Friday 12th February 2010 but interviews and appointments may take place on an ongoing basis before and after this date. Do not be dissuaded from applying after 12th February if you feel you have the qualities and skills to fulfil one of the posts.
