The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated and capable of working under pressure to ensure tight deadlines are met. They will able to start work immediately.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral are a must for this role, as is a flexible attitude to work.
This full time, permanent post is based in Westminster.
The ideal candidate will have a proven commitment to the aims and ideals of the Conservative Party. Experience of working in a political environment would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of working with the public, or in an office environment.
Job duties include:
Provide information, advice and support for constituents on a range of financial, health, housing and other social issues
Liaise with government agencies, the voluntary sector and others to resolve problems
Correspond with constituents or meet with them
Draft responses to constituent correspondence
Keep records of constituent contact and maintain the office correspondence database
Assist with office administration/diary management as needed
Provide concise research on domestic policy topics
