The London Operations intern will assist the Office Manager with a wide variety of non-profit management tasks and projects. Duties will include aspects of financial administration such as helping manage petty cash and handling expense reimbursements. The intern will also help respond to incoming email, phone, fax and written enquiries. S/he will gain exposure to general office management functions such as answering the main phone and taking care of visitors. The Operations intern will also assist in setting up meetings and taking minutes. This internship is best suited for those individuals interested in accounting and/or interested in gaining operations experience in a large, well-organized, international non-profit organization. Hours are flexible.

Applicants should have good administration and writing skills, be well-organized, self-motivated, goal-oriented and reliable. Relevant experience in cash-handling, reception, or database upkeep is desirable. Fluency in oral and written English is required and knowledge of an additional European language is a plus. Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet applications) are an essential requirement for this role.
