The New Statesman Brand and Project Department is looking for an intern to help plan and professionally execute a range of events, including roundtable debates, conferences and symposiums across a wide spectrum of current affairs issues.
Tasks will include research, report writing, database management, and general support for the team with whatever requires assistance.
The successful candidate will also support our promotional and branding initiatives.
We are looking for someone with a demonstrated interest in current affairs, who is competent with administrative tasks and who also has some experience in running events.
The selected candidate will hold a level of responsibility and will be expected to be professional and enthusiastic in all tasks.
The position will be for 2 to 3 days a week. We require availability from March 22nd. The position is unpaid however travel expenses from zones 1-3 will be covered. Offices are in Temple.
