The Whitehouse Consultancy is one of the UK’s most rapidly growing public affairs consultancies. We have secured several major new clients this year already and are on track to be a leader in the industry. We are continually looking for Consultants to join our team at a number of different levels and who can hit the ground running to drive forward major client campaigns.
Successful candidates must demonstrate:
Significant experience within the public affairs sector
An excellent working knowledge of the political processes of the UK particularly of Westminster and Whitehall
A willingness and aptitude to take responsibility for driving forward major campaigns
Experience of and confidence in dealing with stakeholders at senior level
The ability to understand and digest complex information quickly and effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven success in lobbying and working within the mechanisms of Parliament to drive forward demonstrable change
Ability to work and thrive as part of a small and dedicated team and with minimal supervision
Successful candidates will be required to deliver the following at a level appropriate to their appointment:
Devise long-term strategies for clients and be their first point of contact
Liaise with external individuals or bodies at senior level
Keep up to date with developments in the external policy environment and respond to those appropriately
Attend client meetings with Parliamentarians and officials and carry forward agreed action
Draft written correspondence, briefings, research, meeting packs and reports, public policy position statements and target lists of Parliamentarians and officials
Be actively involved in driving new business proposals
