details The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC) is a fundraising and strategy consulting firm operating at the intersection of the for- and non-profit worlds. We provide charities, businesses, foundations and social enterprises with the advice and support they need to best realise their goals and maximise their impact. Previous and current clients include The John Lewis Foundation, Standard Chartered Bank, PlayPumps International, OneVoice, Cecily's Fund and The UK Branch of The United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM).

The Social Investment Consultancy is currently looking for an intern to join our small and dynamic team for a period of three-sixth months. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to an exciting organisation, working at the cutting edge of social enterprise, corporate community engagement and venture philanthropy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Writing articles for the TSIC blog.
  • Conducting market research into non-profit organisations, social enterprises, foundations and corporations.
  • Working with our media advisor to implement a media outreach strategy.
  • Maintaining our databases and providing general support to the Associate Director.

    Qualifications:

  • Be educated to or working towards degree level.
  • Be able to function both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be a dynamic, forward-thinker.
  • Be organised and detail-orientated with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
