details We are seeking a motivated and committed volunteer intern for our busy campaigns office in West Central London.

Working with Hammersmith Constituency Labour Party and the local MP, Andy Slaughter, you will be involved in all parts of electoral and community campaigning - including event organization, volunteer recruitment and management, press liaison, and helping to manage the campaign databases.

In particular, the following skills would be extremely useful:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and database use
  • Previous experience of organizing a campaign, event or project
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges Ability to manage time and tasks well

    You should also be a member of the Labour Party, or be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to its aims and values.
