Adding formatting information to your advert or event submission:

  1. to clarify where you want paragraph breaks just type <P> at the end of each paragraph

  2. to add bullet points type <BL> before the list and then <LI> [that's LI not L1] where you want each bullet point; then add </BL> [NB: there's a slash before the B this time] at the end of the last bullet point.

Simple, isn't it!  Here's an example job ad, with the formatting shown first, followed by how it will appear:

The job is located in Westminster.
<P>
Skills required:<BL>
<LI>drafting press releases
<LI>dealing with media enquiries
<LI>handing casework enquiries
<LI>conducting research.</BL>
<P>
The post may require occasional evening working.

Another useful one is <BR> which just provides one line break.  If you are familiar with formatting already you may be tempted to add lots of other clever stuff but we prefer that you keep it simple so, if we do have to unpick it, we don't waste hours doing so.  Thanks.
